# Welcome to Capsid

Capsid is an NFT derivative protocol that aims to build a **sustainable ecosystem for digital assets**.  By building **utility-anchored protocols,** providing **developer friendly APIs**, and empowering **user facing products**, Capsid strives to enrich utilities of NFTs, and hence expands use cases and adoption of digital assets. Having a sustainable ecosystem that is built on top of utilities is the foundation for the future blossom of digital assets.
